I have configured a new server - I need you all to check and tell me if it's good to know if to keep it or not : http://www.buildsite.biz
The site on that server uses a Database backup from 2 weeks ago so it's quiet old, and it's only for testing purposes.
If you encounter any downtimes or errors please report in this forum
Please also report if the server response and speed are sufficent.

Please pay attention that all the links to the sites on this server will take you to the production site - this server only uses the buildsite.biz domain, so in order to test it you need to create a new portal - this portal would be deleted when the test is over.

We need to try to create some stress on that server because thats probably one of the reasons of the downtime, so try to use it as most as possible.

On the new server all services are currently working - scheduler,users on line
 search etc. so we need to test them too.

The new server doesnt have mail support installed yet so no mails would be sent to you when registering or creating portals.

All the people runing sites - please continue to use the regular server - www.DotNetNuke-Portal.com - all the updates on this server will be kept if there would be a transfer to the new server.

Lior i created a game portal under new server that u provide for test

im adding content to test the server but i want to be sure that

u ll delete my subportal on the newserver or not

will u keep portals created in new server

The new server is for testing only. The DB in it is not updated. Eventually if the test server would be succesfull I will restore the current DB into it. If you will create a full site I will export the template for you to the current site, because the testing you do on the new server is important.

How do you confirm is a site is a full portal or just someone's test portal?

In order to confirm if a site is a full portal or a tets portal we track the changes on the site and the page views and logins to it.
If a site has been created and no changes to any page was made during the first 24 hours, we mark this site for deletion.
If a ready site got no visitiors at all for more then 30 days from any user and from the Admin, it is move automatically to the To Be Deleted list.
Before we delete we check it the Admin posted this site not to be deleted in the speacial Forum made for this purpose. We also put into the decision our own subjective opinion - if we see a complete site, with no premade texts like the instructions to how to build a site, we wont delete it at least untill checking with the Admin of this site.
